Alex and Becky met at the end of a long, hot day in late June of 2011.  They were brought together by their mutual friend Shalom Steinberg, who invited them out for drinks.  The spark between the two was instantaneous.  A month later, they were dating.  Becky knew that Alex was a keeper when he showed up at her door with a bag of groceries, a bunch of sunflowers, and a large basil plant.  Alex knew that Becky was a keeper when she invited him to take a walk to Crystal Lake so that their first date wouldn't end yet.
